Embarking on a walking trip also means relearning to appreciate the simple things in life, savoring the breaks along the way and the comfortable evenings well-deserved after the day's effort, however measured!
Needless to say, walking is a way of getting around that naturally preserves the environment in which we live.

Yes, our walking tours can include, for example, local wine tastings or visits to monuments, enriching your travel experience.
Because we personally study, research and test our hiking tours.
The criteria are the difficulty of the route, the length of the stages, the historical, cultural and natural points of interest, all along pleasant footpaths, footpaths and small secondary roads.
Last but not least, the walking itinerary must of course include accommodation with all the necessary service and comfort, as well as a charming, convenient location!
For trekking further afield, we collaborate with expert local operators working in the same spirit. No one can be an expert everywhere and in everything. So there's no need to compete unnecessarily. Instead, close collaboration with each other guarantees the quality of service you're looking for.
And naturally, you're the first to benefit!
Nordic Walking is a natural health discipline with multiple benefits. Originally conceived as a form of summer training for cross-country skiers, this activity quickly became popular. For the past 30 years, the Finns have considered it a "healthy exercise". In the meantime, it has already conquered half of Europe.
It's easy to learn and provides immediate benefits. The use of special poles actively relieves stress on the joints and gives new impetus to walking. The carbon-fiber poles, fitted with ergonomic gauntlets, facilitate movement. The effort you put in in spite of yourself makes you go faster, farther and higher. Nordic Walking, a gentle way to get back into shape, is suitable for everyone, and particularly for those wishing to resume physical activity, as it keeps you moving in all circumstances. Muscular work is more complete than traditional walking, toning the figure and supporting the spine, straightening the torso and toning the arms and shoulders, increasing calorie burn and relieving tension.
Breathing and oxygenation improve day by day. The day's hike begins with joint unlocking, a gradual warm-up and ends with stretching and wellness movements.

EXCELLENT Basée sur 72 avis Stephen Jay19/10/2025 A well organised walk. GPS app works fine. Evazio were professional and helpful. The various small villages you encounter unfortunately mostly do not offer any food and drink service so book your picnic in advance on your Evazio booking form. Our hotel hosts were very good and we have a very pleasant experience in this enormous wine producing area. Shelley Anderson10/10/2025 We did the self guided bike tour “Tarn and Tarn & Garonne”. Evazio was very responsive and professional setting up our trip and communicating with me. The trip was magical! So many beautiful sites to see on a bike. More than I would’ve seen in a car. If you like off the beaten path, you will love this! We loved going at our own pace and exploring to our hearts desire. Castles, chateaus, bakeries, vineyards, cobblestone streets, bridges, and small villages. We rented e-bikes and they were great, with saddle bags and front bag to hold snacks. They were well maintained and came with repair tools. A cell phone holder for the bike purchased the 2nd day, was a game changer. Bring one! Makes navigating easier. Bring padded bike shorts, it’s a lot of time in the saddle, if you don’t regularly ride. Stefan Diez07/10/2025 Great organisation of a beautiful bike tour around Tours. Lynn Hetterich07/10/2025 I don’t know if we could have thrown more challenges at Evazio - and they were responsive, helpful, efficient, understanding, professional - the list goes on. We started with four of us for a week (Wine country tour). We added two people for an additional two weeks (Bordeaux loop). We added a third person for the two week trip. We had a medical emergency and cancelled everything. Then we asked them to rebook it all - and add a fourth person to the two week trip. I never sensed any eye rolling or frustration. And, while most of our accommodations were still available, they found alternatives just days before our trip, to make the whole three weeks work. We love staying in small towns and, while some of our accommodations were “hotels,” many were special small inns (and the hotels were welcoming and pleasant). Many meals were included (or available) and all were beyond expectation. Our bikes (gravel) were high quality and all accommodations had bike arrangements, no issues. A route book was provided, together with a downloadable phone app - and they provided us with gpx files we could use with our own app. We had vouchers for ferries, meals (where needed). Everything was dialed and easy. Thank you Andrea for your patience - and professional attention to every detail. (The only thing I would advise for anyone booking in August would be to avoid the cycleways along the west coast during holiday time. It is likely a dream ride during quieter times.) Darlene Marshall29/07/2025 Organization: The communication with Evazio for planning the trip was excellent. Everything was very clear and the answers were very prompt. In the early days of choosing a company to go with, I found that Evazio was willing to give good information on exactly what hotels they were aiming to book, which I really liked. We also thought their prices were very competitive. Hotels: We enjoyed the choice of hotels. Many hotels, like in the Loire Valley, were centrally located and easy to walk to the central part of town after the day's cycling was done. And of course in the very hot weather we really enjoyed the hotels that had pools, as with many in the Dordogne. All of the hotels included breakfast, and some in the hotel were 'demi-pension', meaning breakfast and dinner were included, which was very nice. All hotels were 'bike-friendly' and had good secure places to lock up the bikes at night. Logistics: Luggage transfer went very well, our bags were always there waiting for us. Our information package was very good. We really liked the booklet put together for Dordogne, along with maps it had step-by-step instructions which was highly useful. We belong to a cycling club and for each ride, both a map and step-by-step instruction is circulated. It can certainly help when there are unexpected events like road closures for events or construction, etc. to reconnect with the route. Bikes: The touring bike was fine for conditions in Loire Valley, but in the Dordogne it was not realistic for the climbs required to get to castles and higher elevation towns. We cycle considerable elevations in high heat at home during the summer, but we use road bikes and it makes a world of difference (in case there is any confusion over definition, road bikes - sometimes called a gravel bike - is a lighter bike with drop handles ). A heavy touring bike created quite a challenge to be able to get to the higher elevation attractions, and particularly in the Dordogne, practically all towns or castles were located on a hill. We are quite proud of what we did accomplish given that the majority of bikes that we saw in most Dordogne parking lots were electric bikes (unlike the Loire, where we saw a more even distribution of pedal versus electric assist bikes). We communicated this feedback to Evazio, and I do see that they have started offering road bikes, so they appear to be quite responsive in responding to customer suggestions. Finally, we were happy to be using a local company. In early research companies from the US, Canada, UK, etc. were popping up, and I much preferred the idea of using a company located in France. We would be happy to use Evazio again for future travel. Nir Oren26/07/2025 We booked a bike trip from Bordeaux to Toulouse with Evazio. The route itself is highly recommended. It is mostly flat and shaded so you don't need to be an experienced rider, and the heat is not that bad even in the summer. The villages along the way are lovely with nice places for lunch (though some of the places were closed, so you need to plan your day not to miss lunch time). The hotels were welcoming and the b&bs were lovely, with friendly and generous hosts. All the technicalities in connection with this trip were taken care of by Evazio, from the bikes, which were in great condition, accomodation along the route and daily transfers of our luggage to the next stop. Everything worked smoothly, and when we faced a problem Andrea was there and solved it immediately. Highly recommended!
