Discover the Pyrenees by bike

Cycling in the Pyrenees offers a clear itinerary: valleys, balconies and rolling sections that follow on naturally from one another. We stay in touch with the mountain range without tackling the big passes; we take advantage of the views and the valley atmosphere – from the Atlantic Basque country to the gateway to Bigorre. The objective is clear: beautiful, accessible, regular.

Why this destination?

Here, the mountain is discovered through the foothills. The Pyrenees form a line of ridges, and we ride at their foot: moderate relief, villages with character, secondary roads and greenways that leave time to look, meet and breathe. This is the DNA of our Pyrenees cycling trips: balanced stages, precise guidance, and the freedom to choose the right pace – on a classic bike or a VAE.

From the Basque coast with its salty horizon to the first foothills of the Béarn region, the road winds its way along gentle curves. You’ll pass through lively market towns, skirt vineyards on hillsides or rivers in valleys, and alternate between greenway sections and back roads. Each stage keeps the mountains in its sights without ever imposing the slope.

Our “Pyrenees” tours are designed for regular effort: easy to moderate in general profile. The VAE opens up a wider panorama while preserving the comfort of the day. For each trip, we offer an indicative stage profile (distance, D+) and shortcut options.
