When is the best time for a cycling holiday in the Lot et Garonne and Lot Valley?

You can plan cycling holidays in the Lot et Garonne throughout the tourist season, from April to October. July and August can be quite hot in the Garonne valley, but your daily bike rides will still be peaceful with quite reasonable tourist crowds. Indeed, despite the richness of its heritage, its landscapes and its gastronomy, the Lot et Garonne and the Lot Valley, far away from the large touristic poles, are still less visited by tourists !
