Back in St Malo after our trip to the south-west and our short stay in the Bordeaux vineyards, we’d like to thank you for the service we received. The accommodation was top-notch (it really was the life of a ch\u00e2teau!). The visits were fabulous, whether it was the beauty and grandeur of Ch\u00e2teau Smith Haut Lafitte’s extraordinary size, or the meeting with Mr. Gipoulou, who was so pleasant and happy to share his knowledge of his single-varietal Merlot, or the ch\u00e2teau in Saint-Emilion, where, after a lovely history lesson on the Breton monk St Emilion, we were given a detailed explanation of wine-growing right through to bottling, followed by an oenology lesson. Accommodation in St Emilion was also good. The good restaurants throughout the stay were perfect! The only downside, apart from your services and no doubt due to the time of year, was that it was not easy to find a restaurant in the evening.
