Numerous animal and plant species live side by side: bulls, horses, birds and pink flamingos. On foot or by bike, lovers of wide-open spaces can discover the Parc Naturel R\u00e9gional de Camargue. Trails wind along the dykes. Indeed, the face of today's Camargue has been shaped by man for over a century. <\/p>\n
In particular, the \"Gardian\", bull breeders in their \"manade\" who tamed the land by building dykes, rice fields, salt pans and huts. The Rhone delta has created a unique place, a salty mix of land and water, the Camargue.
