You will discover the mountain in winter, in company of a professional, specialist in snowshoes courses. This mode of moving is undoubtedly the most adapted to evolve easily on the powder snow. You will be allured by the ludic aspect of this activity and the comments of your guide. You will test in full safety jumps, roulades and slips on the slopes, throughout these daily courses, from your lodging located down the valley.

You will finish the adventure by a 2 days course with a night in Igloo, in full heart of this deadened mountain.

Program (indicative)

From day 1 to 3

You will leave each day with the minibus, until the starting place of your daily course. You will walk at your rate, in full heart of the Aspe valley. You will benefit from a good snowing up, from an abundant flora, throughout your rises.

According to the weather conditions and to your desires, the program could be as follow: Circuit of Causiat/Somport, Estaens Lake, Ansabere Peak and Lake or scenic view of Tuquet.

Your days will be punctuated by various discoveries (animals traces, characteristics of the flora), pauses and picnics, before reaching the various sites of our Pyrenean mountain and going down again to dine and spend the evenings, well deserved, in the valley.

Day 4 and 5 :

You will leave with your small back bag for a two days course until the top the Tourelles. 2038 meters high, it offers a unspoilable view on the Valley and the Midi d'Ossau Peak. After first walk through wood, you will cross great spaces covered with snow to reach the hut around which you will build yourself your camping.

By borrowing the technique of the eskimos, you will build your Igloos. This activity, truly extraordinary and collective, will be followed obviously by an evening in front of a fire and a bivouac inside the Igloos (!).

The following day, after the end of the rise until the top, you will go down again last time to the valley where you will find the vehicles.
